Lorin Dennis

Lorin Dennis, one of the artists who best describes the journey of a canvas, takes the first step on this path at the age of 9 with a Zenitanalog camera, which was a gift from her mother.

At the same time, the artist, who took her charcoal works to an advancedlevel, decided to establish her own workshop in 2007 and focusedentirely on Experimental technical studies. Thus she opens her firstexhibition at the Şevket Sabancı Cultural Center. In this exhibition, shetalks about photography, video and documentary music and Long Play covers.

Right after, she was invited to the 4 Seasons Alaçatı art event. Here, sheexhibits her dance and fashion paintings, using the Moulin Rougeconcept skillfully.

On the other hand, she stands out with her “woman” themed Popartpainting exhibition at KarlandEin Art Gallery.

Today, some of the artist’s works continue to be exhibited in the decksection of the West Istanbul Education Research Diving Center boat, including 2 Piri Reis Golden Horn and Piri Reis World maps. For thosewho want to see, there are currently 8 pieces of the artist’s work in 360istanbul.

Thanks to three different live painting performances themed “The girlplaying the violin in the moonlight“, “Istanbul panorama” and “Love“, it met with art lovers and received great applause.

The fact that the artist reflects what she feels and experiences ratherthan what she sees in painting and photography adds uniqueness to herworks. Lorin Dennis, who still works on painting, photography andphotopenture in the workshop she founded in 2007, continues to createnew works in this workshop with her fellow artists. She is also an art consultant to many 5-star hotels, luxury villas, restaurants-artcafes andgyms.
